What we teach
  1. Finding the jobs. The three jobs on your team's plate, and which ones are worth handing to AI first.
  2. Briefing it like a new starter. Context, examples and what good looks like. Why the same question gets a useless answer from one person and a great one from another.
  3. Checking its work. Where AI gets things wrong, how to spot it, and when a human has to make the call.
  4. Working with your own files. Projects, saved instructions, documents, spreadsheets and meeting notes, so it knows your business before you ask.
  5. The wider toolkit. What else is out there for notes, voice, research and images, what's worth paying for and what to skip.
  6. Your ground rules. What never goes into an AI tool, client privacy, and a simple team policy you can adopt on the day.

  1. What AI actually is, in plain words. What it can do, what it can't, and why it sounds confident when it's wrong.
  2. Taking the load off. Planning, differentiation, first-draft feedback, emails and admin, with the teacher's judgement on top.
  3. Integrity in a world with AI. Designing tasks and conversations for students who already have these tools.
  4. Privacy and student information. What never goes in, and how to work within your school's and your system's AI policy.
  5. One thing to use on Monday. A practical workflow each person tries in the room and takes back to their own work.
What students learn: Smart, Not Shortcuts
  1. The fork in the road. Shortcut versus learning companion. The same tool, two completely different students.
  2. Learn better. Asking AI to explain, give worked examples, quiz them and give honest feedback on their own work.
  3. Stay safe. Privacy, made-up answers, academic integrity and teacher-approved use.
  4. Apply it. A real study workflow they can use on their next assessment that same week.

Safe by design

We teach with made-up or approved examples, never private client, staff or student information. Every session covers what doesn't go into an AI tool and why. In schools, the program is built around academic integrity and teacher-approved use. It doesn't replace teachers, counsellors or anyone's judgement, and it never teaches students to hand in AI work as their own.

Questions

Do we need paid AI accounts?
It works best when your team already has accounts for the tool you use at work. We'll tell you exactly what you need on the prep call, and there's nothing to buy from us.
Where do you run it?
In person, at your office or school, across Sydney. Ask us about anywhere else.
Is our information safe?
Yes. We use made-up or approved examples, and part of every session is setting the rules for what your team never puts into an AI tool.
Is this part of your AI packages?
No. A workshop teaches your people. If you want AI built and running inside your business, that starts with The AI Audit.
Does it count towards teacher PD?
NESA asks teachers to log 100 hours of professional development in each maintenance period to keep their accreditation. Every teacher gets a session record with the hours and the Standards it relates to, ready for their log. It's up to each teacher and school how they record it.
Is Smart, Not Shortcuts about stopping cheating?
It's about judgement. Students are already using AI. The program shows them how to use it to learn better, with integrity intact, and gives the school a clear position to share with parents.
